Motel Six
This project was created as part of an assignment to rebrand a hotel. The result was a rebrand of the popular budget motel chain, Motel 6.
The goal of the rebrand was to appeal Motel 6 to younger audiences, incorporating a vintage, boutique motel style. Another goal was to change the feel of the brand, going from corporate to fun and friendly.
Beginning with a look into the brand’s audience, history, appeal and reason for rebrand, I developed mood boards to communicate the look I was going for. From there I developed logos and color palettes, mixing and matching options until the desired feel was achieved. Once these branding elements were locked in I moved onto tangible assets.
